The Mayo Clinic Department of Molecular Medicine is hosting the 2026 Measles Virus Minisymposium. Roberto Cattaneo, Ph.D., Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, is organizing the event and developing the program agenda.
Dr. Bryan Grenfell (Kathryn Briger and Sarah Fenton Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Public Affairs, Princeton School of Public and International Affairs) will give the keynote lecture to open the symposium Saturday afternoon.

Dr. Louis-Marie Bloyet (Immunobiologie des Infections Virales, Centre International de Recherche en Infectiologie, Lyon, France) will give the Sunday morning main lecture.
"Structure and Dynamics of the RNA Synthesis Machinery of Mononegaviruses"
