The Mayo Clinic Department of Molecular Medicine is hosting the 2019 Measles Virus Minisymposium. Roberto Cattaneo, Ph.D., Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, is organizing the event and developing the program agenda.

Dr. Diane Griffin (Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health) will give the keynote lecture to open the symposium Friday morning.

Dr. Rik DeSwart (Department of Viroscience, Erasmus University Rotterdam) will give the Saturday morning main lecture.

  "Studying the Mechanism of Measles Immune Suppression: From Animal Model to Naturally Infected Measles Patients"
