The 7th minisymposium on Measles Virus will be held at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, July 15-16, 2022 (Friday and Saturday morning). This meeting precedes the American Society for Virology ASV 2022 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Madison, WI.  Mayo Clinic Rochester and UW-Madison campuses are 200 miles apart (3 hours by car).

There will be a welcome barbecue on Thursday evening. Oral and poster presentations on all aspects of the molecular and cell biology of measles and related viruses, their pathogenesis, and their applications in oncolysis and as vaccines are sought. Poster discussions will be during longer pauses around noon and in the afternoon, coincidental with lunch and coffee, respectively. There will be a banquet Friday evening. Oral presentations will continue on Sat. morning until noon, allowing the participants to attend the ASV keynote address at 5.30 p.m. in Madison.

There will be no registration fee. The organizers offer dinner Thursday, Friday meals and Saturday breakfast. We cannot provide financial support for travel, but have negotiated a discount rate for a downtown Rochester hotel.  There are also a number of other hotels available which are 1-5 minutes from the Mayo Clinic campus.
